Triangular Tarn
The Triangular Lake, named in this way due to its shape, is located in the upper glacial cirque of the Rea Valley. Above the lake rises the peaks Viștea Mare and Moldoveanu. It is located in the western part of the cirque at an altitude of 2159 meters and is supplied by underground sources.
The lake can be admired from the following routes:
- Moldoveanu Peak - Curmătura Maliţei (marked with a blue triangle)
- Vâlsanului Valley - Moldoveanu Peak (marked with red cross)
- Big Window of the Sâmbata - Podragu Seat (red vertical strip)
- Sheepfold of Valea Rea - Portița Viștei (red triangle)
