Călțun Lake
Călțun Lake is a glacial lake located northeast of Negoiu Peak, in Călțun glacial landform, at the foot of Călțun Peak. The lake is located at an altitude of 2135 meters and has an area of 7751 square meters and a depth of 11.8 meters.
Tourists from Bucharest who want to reach Călțun can choose the Bucharest - Avrig route, by train. From Avrig begins the journey on the mountain which is long and difficult but extremely beautiful, laced with unique landscapes.
Travelers must be prepared to spend the night at the shelter.
